Shallow 2D Seismic Reflection Profile,
Bison Galileo Seismic Recording System,
with Software Roll Box. Most Accurate
Reflections Ever Seen. Correlates to 2D Resistivity Profile Very
Accurately. !!!.
The Reflection Seismic Line to the
left, was shot in May of
1995.
All by myself. One man crew. It is
a 2D reflection section with some 250 records. It was shot using
a Bison 24 channel Galileo (20/20 system) seismograph using a "software
seismic roll box". I collected the data over a
2 hour period in the field and processed the data in about 6 to 8 hours
using both WinSeis(KGS) and also Seistrix III (from Interpex). The
reflection between 4 and 10 ms is "the shallowest reflections"
observed
even by today's standards! I am
not sure if
anyone
has ever been or will in the future be able to shoot such a shallow
reflection
with a 24 channel Seismograph. I also
ran
a resistivity survey over this same site and collected more data in
about
3 hours time. Please be sure to view this case study under
Resistivity Applications within this webste!

Shallow 2D Seismic Reflection Profile,
Bison Galileo Seismic Recording System,
with Software Roll Box.
This is the same data set as above displayed with more traces
per inch. You can also see this feature on the Resistivity
Profile "St Thomas University",St Paul, MN. Please note
that
the brown highlighed Reflector that starts at approximately 60 MS is
the
St. Peter SandStone! The Dakota Limestone overlays this
huge
tremendous body of ocean white beach sandstone, with at least
three
distictive Shale Layers, which really cannot be seen on the
above 2D Seismic Section Profile! They can
although,
be seen on the Resistivity Profile entited "St Thomas University"
and is seen under "Resistivity Examples" in this Web Site.

Shallow 2D Seismic Reflection Profile,
Bison Galileo Seismic Recording System,
with Software Roll Box.
Fractured Bedrock in Northern Spain. In Apple and Wine
Country.
The National Spanish Transportaion Board was building an new tunnel and
wanted to see what a shallow bedrock profile of the region would look
like.
IGT GS, Espaina was the contractor. From what I knew
the profile to the left had very similar structure to the resistivity
profile
done intial by IGT for the National Spainish Transportation
Board.
The above data was collected with a Bison 24 channel 24 bit
seismograph.
It used one of the first Windows Graphical User Interface System
operations
software. The data for this survey was collected in Sept of 1996.
Shallow 2D Seismic Refraction Profile
MRSAPS SOFTWARE 26 Shot Points. !!
Bison 9000A Seismic Recording System
.
At the Same Site in St. Paul Above (St. Thomas University along
Mississippi River Road). Everything Correlates !! The
profile to the left was collected by a Bison 9000A
system. 26 shot points were used and the data was collected
over a few
hours. Much More than the older Five shots that are limited
by the old outdated softwares. 26 shot points were
analyzed as shown in the profile by the MRSAPS software which is the
"State of the ART" today. Shotpoints were offend and at every
geophone station.
The seismic data from these 26 shots was then analysed with the MRSAPS
computer
software, to make the profile to the left. This is
known
as Seismic Refraction Analysis, for subsurface Bedrock
Imaging.
This new and outstanding software will handle both P and S wave
refractions and can be shown with both the Results of both P and S wave
data profiles combined and inverted together ... or shown
individually. NO ONE ELSE IN THE WORLD HAS THIS
SOFTWARE. IT CAN BE USED FOR BOTH DEEP APPLICATIONS OR
SHALLOW.

OUTSTANDING
2D SEISMIC DATA PROCESSOR !! Bret W. Smith,
Geophysicist.
Look at this 2D line. NO
ONE ELSE could show the real geological structures NO ONE.
I can not tell you exactly where the seismic data for this line was
collected, but I can tell you that it shows a full Silurian Reef
! ! Can
you see it. ?? It was collected in SouthEastern
Indiana. It's exact location is a secret. The
data was collected in 2004. It was processed by several
companies..all of whom could not show "The Client", what can
clearly CLEARLY BE SEEN HERE The Silurian Reef
is about 500 feet high and is at a depth of 2,984
feet. They want to try to use MRSAPS to find if it is
full of OIL and GAS before the Drill ! Good Idea ! ? The
Line is shown from West to East. Again. ONLY
BRET W SMITH, was able to show this to the client.
!! WOW !! From the Surface to great
depth. I did a small project for them. They were very
very unhappy with all the people who processed their data. Very
very few people know how to process seismic reflection
data. VERY FEW. This line is a tremedous
example of my Skill Set !!

This is the same line with an
application in Seismic SEE. ! This line is
a tremedous example of my Skill Set !! No one
Else NO one can do this !

The two lines below are from Western
Australia. I WAS NOT PAID IN FULL AND HAD TO TRY TO TAKE
THE CUSTOMER I DID THIS FOR TO COURT IN AUSTRALIA !!
HE NEVER PAID ME. THE WORK I DID WAS
"OUTSTANDING" NO ONE N O O N
E Else could show what I did especially considering it was with
an ISEIS system. Not quite even 18 bits of Resolution( a
really crappy system in my view).
Line 5 Shot points every 5 meters. 5 meter stations.
Line 1 Shot Point every 10 meters, 5 meter stations.
Total Shot Points 1282 shot points !! Total It took
about 300 hours to do these two lines. I got them to him (he was
in a big hurry) in only about two months. The reprocessor took
two years . I
WAS NEVER PAID IN FULL !! ??
Dont ever expect me to do business with anyone there again. !!
They used 10 Hrtz Geophones. This line was 3,135 meters roughly 3
kilometers. Wow. Look at the
Detail. He told me (the customer) that he had to have
someone else process the data becuase he could not trust my work.
I dont believe him...but the Judge did. ??? "Awful
" He should be sued. ...Again. YOU HAVE A
LOOK
LINE 5 West to East over 3km Long. !! I should
have been Paid at least $1000 dollars per Km. !! NO
ONE NOT ANYONE IN THE WORLD COULD HAVE SHOWED HIM THIS. !
HE SAID IT WAS RE-PROCESSED...BUT I DOUBT IT. I NEVER SAW
ANY OF THE REPROCESSED DATA. ???
Look at this outstanding line from Western Australia.

This was the second line. Look At it the
guy used a 24 channel ISEIS. Three of them linked
together. The data was NOT easy to process.
NOT to uncommon
in this industry. NO wonder now no one ever finds
anything, and drilling is highly inaccurate. Look at
the Pinicle Reefs. These are quite well known in
Australia. They are overlain via a UnConformal
Boundry. Wow.
