Foggy
Rainy Day out on the Ice Pack. The Taku Glacier has numerous subsurface
fissures and caverns also, some students have been killed in expeditions
in the past. The Program has been in operation since 1946.
Great care has be taken for any expedition out onto the Ice Pack.
Here to the left Dr. Maynord Miller and Mathew Nolen( one of his students)
discuss how the seismic data should be acquired and how "shooting" or the
data collection process should take place on this incredible MASS of Ice
on our Precious Earth. I took this picture after giving them some
advise.
